Charles Kidwell Obituary
Born October 15th, 1945 in Fairfax, VA, he was the son of Wesley and Ethel Makley Kidwell. On November 9th, 1996 in Gainesville, VA, he married the former Joanne Milburn Cochran, who survives.
Mr. Kidwell was employed by the A & P Grocery Store for over 38 years, and was a member of the UFCW Local 400 Union.
He was preceded in death by one son, Brian L. Kidwell, and three brothers. Surviving besides his loving wife of 13 years, are one son, Michael W. Kidwell and his wife Robin of Warrenton; one step-daughter, Tammy Beard and her husband Richard of Fredericksburg; one step-son, Ricky Cochran also of Fredericksburg; two sisters, one brother, one granddaughter, Brianna Kidwell; seven step-grandchildren, and nine step- great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with private interment taking place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
