Linda was born September 15, 1941 in Augusta, WV, a daughter of the late David Lawrence McBride and Gladys Elizabeth Godlove McBride. She married Paul Leroy Kidwell Jr. She attended Saint John's Lutheran Church in Martinsburg West Virginia.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelley Wonsetler (James) of Winchester, and her grandson, Joseph Paul Wonsetler. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ray McBride, Mary Whitlock, Luella Cain, Arvella Coffelt, Roger McBride, Irma Luttrell, Fred McBride, and Freda Cave.
Linda loved her family and friends and was always there with a welcoming smile and outstretched arms. Her favorite pastime was cooking and enjoying every second with her grandson. He was the twinkle in her eyes and her shining star. She loved shopping and was always on the hunt for that special treasure that was usually for someone other than herself.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 7, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
