Mildred Mae Glass Cornwell Mildred Mae Glass Cornwell, 84, formerly of Manassas, passed away September 26th, 2010.

Born May 21st, 1926 in Clifton Forge, VA, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Natalie Flint Glass. On June 2nd, 1946, she married Howard R. Cornwell, who preceded her in death on January 22nd, 1995.

Mrs. Cornwell was the co-owner of the former Peoples Garage in Manassas. In addition, she worked for the Department of Justice and was a Clerk of the Court for Prince William County for many years.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Ann Stephens-Keyser and her husband Wilson of Warrenton; three grandchildren, Karen Champ, Cheryl Thomas and Brian Stephens; five great-grandchildren, Nicole Champ, Amanda Thomas, Justin Stephens, Joshua Thomas and Rachael Stephens; one great great-grandchild, Braylen Jones; three sisters, three brothers, many nieces and nephews of Virginia and Florida; and Frank and Joan Stephens of Warrenton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 30th, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Clinton E. Owens officiating.

Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.
