Bettie Carol Keyton Bettie Carol Keyton, age 63, of Manassas, Virginia died Friday, October 29, 2010 at her residence.

She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Manassas. Bettie was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 106, VFW Womans Cooties, Post 1503, Woodbridge, Virginia, The American Legion, Woman's Auxiliary, Post #10 and the Woman's Auxiliary VFW Post 7589. Bettie retired from the Federal Government after 37 years with the U.S. Air Force as a foreign military specialist.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orice Franklin Tibbs.

Survivors include her loving husband of 28 years, Weldon Keyton; daughter, Jessica Keyton and boyfriend Robert Bonk of Manassas, Virginia; her mother, Pauline Tibbs of Manassas, Virginia; one step-son, Walter M. Keyton and wife Stacey of Manassas; one aunt, Beatrice Jones and husband Ed of North Carolina; one granddaughter, Ashley N. Keyton and cousins, Karen and David May of Manassas, Virginia, Gale and Thomas Clayton of North Carolina and Linda and John Maddox of Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 with Ted O'Dell, Lay Speaker officiating. Graveside services will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Immediately following the graveside service, a reception will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 7803 Well Street, Manassas, Virginia 20111.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street, SE, Vienna, Virginia 22180 in loving memory of Bettie C. Keyton. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.

To the Keyton Family: My husband and I
both went to Osbourn High School, class
of 1965. We both knew Betty and I have
fond memories of her........she was very
sweet and fun to be around. I was so short and Betty was so tall. Our thoughts and prayers goes with each of you at this difficult time. God Bless
