Robert Lee Owens Robert Lee Owens, age 87, of Warrenton, Va. died on December 30, 2010 at the Fauquier Health & Rehabilitation Center in Warrenton. He was born on August 29, 1923 in White Post, Va. the son of Thomas E. and Rose Breeden Owens.

Mr. Owens has been a member of the Manassas Assembly of God since 1956 where he served as a Deacon and Usher. He was also a 61 year member of the Local 132 Carpenter's Union.

In addition to his parents he was predeced in death by brothers Bill, Ernest and Charlie Owens and sisters Ruth Mason and Cora Fletcher.

He is survived by his loving wife Madeline V. Owens, children Ruthie Blackburn, Richmond, Va., Tommy Owens, Semora, N.C., Joyce Leonard, Elmira, N.Y., Charles Owens, Semora, N.C. and Rosie Blankenship, Manassas, Va. and siblings Earl Owens, Luray, Va. and Virginia Carter, Glen Burnie, Md., also seven grand-children, 14 great grand-children and two great-great-grand-children.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave., Warrenton, Va.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Manassas Assembly of God, 11500 New Life Way, Bristow, VA with Pastor Scott Leib and Pastor Thomas Moore officiating. Interment in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, Va.
