Dear Aunt Rose, and cousins Gil, Carmine, Dante, Gianna, Mario, and Dominic,
We were so shocked, and deeply saddened over the huge loss of Uncle Gibby! Words, I'm sure, can not adequately comfort you. I want you to know that my husband, Al, and I will be praying for God's comfort, and healing for the brokeness in your hearts. I have so many memories of Uncle Gib. He was a kind, loving man. I am so sorry that each of you must endure this. We do love each of you. May God bless your entire family!

I have known Gibby since we were pupils at St. Joseph's grade school. He was a kind, wonderful man, and I am privileged to have had him as a life-long friend. My sincere best wishes to his wife, family and siblings. Rest in Peace, old friend ....

Mr. Picarelli treated all with honesty and respect.
I remember growing up on second & arch street and my Mother sending me over to Picarelli's. It was Always a good experience.
A very nice man with a great family.

I remember going to your stand and buying fresh fruits and vegetables. Mr. Picarelli made shopping such a pleasure. He was a wonderful man. My condolences to the family of Gibby, truly an icon in the Shamokin area. A gentleman at all times and very proud of his family, a great family as it is, he will be missed by many people.
