Juanita Wright Surratt

Juanita Wright Surratt of Waynesboro passed away on Tuesday night, November 9, 2010, at Augusta Health.

She was born in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Wilmer R. and Savilla James Wright.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Matthew Wright and Aubrey Wright.

Survivors include her husband, James. F. Surratt; one son, George E. Buzzard and his wife, Norma, of Waynesboro; two brothers, Charles Wright and his wife, Sarah, of Reston, Virginia, and W.R. Wright of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Carla Scott Buzzard of Harrisonburg and Blair Sowards and her husband, Jason, of Columbus, Georgia; and great-grandchildren, Tucker, Kolton, Kamari, Owen and Emma-Kate.

A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010, at Saint John's Episcopal Church with Father Kim Webster officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church, P. O. Box 945, Waynesboro, VA 22980.

Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory of Waynesboro is serving the family.
