Thinking of you today buddy. You were one of my first friends at Fishburne. A few years ago, we dedicated a brick to you in the quadrangle. I am sure you can see it. Until we meet again.

Many knew him as 'Bobby' but to me, a co-worker of his at CGI, he was Robert. He was an extraordinary person to work with. The first time I met him he threw me off guard because he was energetic and excited about working on something I considered very boring and was not looking forward to. His attitude made me take a step back and re-evaluate my own perspective on the work.

He was incredibly generous, helpful, and hard working. One time I was over-loaded with too many tasks and Robert helped me work through them on top of his own work load. We got through it together and from that point on he was my go-to guy whenever I needed help or if my team was looking for additional resources and I looked for opportunities to do the same for him.

I got to meet Robert in person on his visit to Fairfax a few months ago and he was just as great in person as he had been over the phone, email, and office chat. Over time we grew to be friends.

I was absolutely shocked to hear that he had passed. I am thankful to have known Robert. He definitely influenced my outlook on work and life. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that you find peace and serenity in this grievous time. Please let me know if there's anything I can do. nweaver529(at)gmail(dot)com

Bobby and I were close friends back at Fishburne. Nothing like going over to his place and eating steaks while watching movies or studying together to get our driver's licenses or just to get a break from military school. I wish I didn't drop off the radar after we graduated, but I'm glad to see that he had a major impact on more than just my life. Bobby will be missed, God bless him.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. He was a sweet person. I never saw him that he was not smiling. He was the one person from this area that I would see often in Radford. He is in a better place but that does not change how much he is loved or will be missed. Please know we are here for your family if you need anything or just simply need to talk to someone. We love you all.

I am deeply sadden by the sudden loss of Robert. We sat together for almost a year and he was always upbeat and energetic. You can guarantee that he would have you smiling and laughing within 10 mins of talking to him. He was a great coworker and an even better friend. My heart goes out to your entire family.

I was a colleague of Robert's from the Fairfax, Virginia CGI Federal office and was extremely saddened to hear the news of his unexpected passing. I met Robert last January and trained him during his first weeks at CGI Federal. He was one of the most bright, energetic and happy people to work with on a daily basis. Within the first few days of meeting him, I knew that Robert could handle just about any situation. If there was a problem, Robert was always ready with a creative solution. He quickly became a leader and was well known as the go to guy from our Southwest Virginia office. He also was one of the most requested resources by staff in the Fairfax office and people would actually put up a good fight to get him on their team. Even though I knew him for less than a year, I am certain that he enriched my life and will remember him as a good friend and colleague who could always brighten my day.

SO I am sending out prayers to you and yours. I rem. when we burried dad there in 1987 how ALL the cars pulled over to the side of the road to show us respect and THAT does not happen in Hampton Roads area.Take care rem the GOOD TIMES as we get older class of 66 we are losing more and more family and friends but we were BLESSed to have them as long as we did.
