Rocky Layne Floyd GREENVILLE

Rocky Layne Floyd, 50, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010, at his residence.

He was born on September 10, 1960, in Virginia, a son of the late Maynard Henry Floyd.

Rocky was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his ex-wife, but special friend, Robin Floyd of Buena Vista; two sons, Joshua Floyd of Staunton, and Dustin Floyd of Greenville; a granddaughter, Tasha Floyd; a half-sister, Jennifer; as well as many friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, with eulogies by Joshua and Dustin Floyd.

Memorial contributions may be made in Rocky's memory, to the American Diabetes Association, 4335 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
