Well Pops,
lt's been 13 years! You're always in our hearts and often on our minds. Most the tears have turned to laughter when reminiscing about you. I'm sure if you've been watching, we've given you quite a few laughs too.

I'll never be able to express how lucky I feel to have had you in my life. I mean, all things considered, I got pretty lucky in the "In-laws" category lol!!

I love & miss you Pops, today & always.

Love,
Sammy Baby

PS.
Give Shelby & Dimebag love from their Momma & Poppa and tell my Dad & Granny, I'm trying to make them proud.

So... it's Friday the 13th of November 2020. Always feel how ironic that you were SO suspicious yet passed on a Friday the 13th. Told Keith this morning hard to believe it's already been 11 years without you since it seems like yesterday. My faith has me believe that you are at peace. Know you are always on our minds and in our hearts. Miss you so much.

Keith couldn't believe it has been ten years already. Still question as superstitious as you were, why you passed on Friday the 13th. I have your pic on my desk so i can look to you for guidance throughout the day. Thank you!

Tomorrow will be 10 years Gramps. I miss you everyday, as if you left yesterday.
I miss calling you on the weekends, and visiting you every summer.
I often find myself asking for mechanical help, jokingly saying "HUH!?", telling you something inappropriate that Addisyn and Rylan have said or done that
proves you are 100% still around.
I love you forever and always,
Gretchen Ann

I thought of you with love today, but that's nothing new, I thought about you yesterday and the day before that too. I think of you in silence and I often speak your name, all I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake with which I'll never part, God has you in his keeping and I'll forever have you in my heart. Love, Sammy Baby

October 14, 2010

Dad, I agree w/Gretch; you would've loved Addisyn! She is definitely 'hornery' just like you *wink* The other night Addi & I were talking about you while looking at your pics. Hope you heard how much you're missed and loved. Please help make lingering challenges work out; we need you. Miss you Dad *:-(

hi gramps-
i miss you.
I wish you were here to see Addisyn. I sometimes get the urge to call you up to tell you something she's done, any milestone she's achieved. You would love her. Alan always says if you saw her you'd say, "Gretchen who!?" and that's fine with me! :)
Iowa wasn't the same. Addisyn heard your voice; she knew.
I know you're watching.

Love'n you and miss'n you-

Rest in peace Uncle Henry. I will never forget how much us boys and my Dad (Bub) loved you. Say hi to him for me:) You always made us laugh and you will always be missed. Mark, I feel your loss. God Bless you and your family and take care.

December 13, 2009

Well Pops, today is already the 1 month anniversary of you moving on. Hope and pray you are truely happy. Wonder what you're doing and who you're with at different times of the day. Hear the spirit becomes whole and wonder if you now have both of your arms to hug and hold loved ones. OR maybe able to hold two bud lights instead of just one **wink** Know there are people watching out for ya to keep you in line...and to be lovey!
Miss you Dad!

December 2, 2009

Monday 11/30 was your birthday dad. I was anxious to come home and give you a call asking how you liked your balloons. Real shocker when reality set in and knew I couldn't call you...ever again. I still had a beer and cheered to ya though. I talk to you and pray that you'll somehow give me a sign you can hear me. Maybe some day. Still can't help crying a lot, being selfish I guess. Father at St. Patrick's says 'we just know' you're in a better place, but still tough. Hope you had a GR8 bday with family you've missed so dearly.
Love you always!

Grandpa-
I dont know why this is so hard...
I feel like I should say something funny or inapropriate but I'm not as quirky and quick as you. I always tell people I wish I could "talk" like you; say whatever I wanted that was on my mind, but I can't even think like that *smiles* You always had your words. That is something I will take with me. You always taught us that no one is better than us, and we are no better than others. People are still asking how you are doing, which is proof you left us too early. You were very strong the last few months, god really had to think about spending eternity with you haha- Alan misses your "wet willies" you would give him with your "stub".
I miss you very much, and will have many memories live on in my heart.
Love you gramps-

Thanksgiving just wasn't the same. My Broncos won, but it just wasn't the same without you giving my "Donkeys" crap. I will talk to you soon on your birthday 11/30. I love you Pops. This world was way better with you in it.

Mark, I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I have many memories of the good times the family had. I remember back further than that, when your mother, your father and I were teenagers. They were wonderful times. Henry was a good and caring father to you. Remember him with kindness and love.

In Christ. your Aunt Rosalie (Rollio)

Oh my! Where to begin. It was so nice talking to so many people at the Celebration who knew dad; heard some stories never knew before! We all know he was 'hornery', but seriously dad! They say time heals the heart in sorrow, but will definitely never forget his sayings. Thanks Mark, Rhonda, and Sam for taking such good care of dad, especially these past few months. He didn't like depending on others, but know he appreciated it! Remember to all 'Be Lovey' and have faith. It's all we can do now.

November 25, 2009

I remember Uncle Henry for Coors beer west of the Missouri River(not available back them), short arm) and the strongest other arm ever! I also recall family reunions in Missouri Vally/Dunlap,Ia. Brian Osborne (Ayhens,Ga.)

He will be truley missed...more so than I could ever fully express. He was like no other! I will always cherish the good times, long talks, and heart-felt ribbings that he could dish out better than anyone! My deepest sympathy to you, Rhonda. He was very lucky to have you, Mark & Sam taking such good care of him. I love you all.
