Robert Hill Obituary

Robert Paul Hill, age 84, of Front Royal passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at his home.

A graveside service will be conducted on March 11, 2011 at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Caribou, ME.

Mr. Hill was born in St. Paul, MI on May 31, 1926, a son of the late David and Ruth Wheelock Hill. He was an engineer for Raytheon. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of both WWII and Korea. Mr. Hill was a member of the VFW Post 1860 and American Legion Post 53. He was an avid reader and Protestant by faith.

Mr. Hill is survived by his son, David Hill and wife Nancy of Mesa, AZ; his daughters, Deborah Martin of Linden, Stephanie Hill of Lock Haven, PA, Sherri Hudson of Front Royal, Susan Hill of N. Springfield, and Pamela Thompson of Caribou, ME; his brother, David W. Hill of Ventura, CA; his sister, Mardi Lash of DE; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
