ALICE HILL Obituary

Hill, Alice B. 1924-2010 Alice B. Hill, of Westminster, CA, passed away October 5, 2010 at age 85. She was born Alice Kramer, the eldest of four sisters, in Hartford, Connecticut on December 23rd, 1924. She married Maben E. Hill (1923-2010) of Borger, Texas, on May 11th, 1948; was the mother of two sons, and had two granddaughters. Alice served in the Marine Corps and was a member of the Women Marines Association and American Legion Post 555, Midway City, CA. She also supported the Elks Lodge #2346 of Westminster, CA, and was a talented crafter specializing in needlework and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years; her parents, William and Margaret (O'Brien) Kramer; and sister, Rosalie La Tora. She is survived by her sisters, Margie Dunn of Bristol, Connecticut and Irene Kramer, of Rocky Hill, Connecticut; by sons, Christopher of Santa Ana, CA and Timothy of Orangevale, CA; her daughters-in-law, June and Deborah Hill; and granddaughters, Erin and Sarah. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 15th at 11:00 at Dilday Brothers Mortuary Chapel, 17911 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach. Interment and Military Honors will be rendered at 11:15 on Wednesday, October 20th at Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area 2.
