Betty Ferris Obituary

Ferris, Betty Mae January 21, 1949 – September 4, 2010. Dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter in law, and friend, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Bullhead City, AZ at the age of 61. She was born on January 21, 1949 in Orange, CA, the daughter of Robert and Susannah (Herren) Baxter. She and her sister, Judy, grew up in Orange County, CA. She met her beloved husband of 43 years, while she was in high school and working at Rexall Drugs. They were married on June 30, 1967. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenny (Kenneth) Ferris; her daughters, Debbie Sevilla and Tammy Nunez, and her grandchildren, Taylyn, Joseph, and Dana. She also had another child, Jeffery Dale Ferris who is deceased. She was a friend to many and just wanted everyone to be happy. Some of her favorite things were daisies, orchids, the Little Onion Restaurant, her neighbors, friends, and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her favorite saying was "Happy is the day when the sailor gets his pay." Services will be held at 12pm on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Fairhaven Memorial Park located at 1702 Fairhaven Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705. My mother will be missed by many and there is no one who can fill her shoes, she was one of a kind with a very sincere heart!!!

My sincere condolences to the family. "Little Betty" as I knew her, whom I had the pleasure of working with at the Rexall Drug Store in Santa Ana back in the late 70's n early 80's. A wonderful person who touched many lives. Rest in peace.

Her smile, her laugh, her sparkling personality...that's what I think of when I remember Betty. A best friend to my mom and a 2nd mom to the rest of the family. She got all of us through a difficult time. Such a beautiful woman, I am so blessed to have had her in my life. I love you Betty and I love your entire family and all of my heartfelt condolences go out to you. Wish I could be there, I am in my heart and soul.

First, my love and regrets to you Kenny, Debbie & Tammy and the rest of the family. Betty was a friend, neighbor, confidant, sister and more. We shared many times, good, bad, happy, sad. We laughed, we cried and through everything in our 41 yr. adventure through life, never a harsh word between us. Can't say good-bye Betty , for now," Aloha Oe", my silly little girl. We WILL meet again. I love you. Donna Baiocchini Hano
