Fred Morgan Obituary

Fred B. Morgan, Jr., 57 of Blacklog Valley Road, Orbisonia, PA, died at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his home.
Born February 3, 1954 at Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Fred B. Morgan, Sr. and Lois G. (Krause) Morgan who survives of RD, Orbisonia, PA. He was married to the former Karen Clark who survives at their home.
ALSO SURVIVING: Children: Melinda Howe and husband Mike -Shippensburg, PA, Adam Morgan and wife Joy -Hummelstown, PA; step children: Scott Hicks and wife Nellie - Catawissa, PA, Shana Hicks - Bellefonte, PA; eight grandchildren: Parker, McKenzi and Madyson Morgan, Preston and Foster Howe, Elliott, Nate and Christian Hicks. Siblings: Dale Morgan - RD, Mapleton, PA, Cynthia Brightbill - Orbisonia, PA, Carrie Morgan Burns - RD, Orbisonia, PA; one daughter, Danielle and two brothers, David and Richard Morgan, preceded in death.
Mr. Morgan was a past member of Spring Creek Lodge #802 F. & A. M., Hershey, PA.
He was employed as a corrections officer at the Huntingdon Co. Jail for the last 19 years and was employed at the Milton Hershey School as a farmer for many years prior to that.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Shope Cemetery, RD, Orbisonia, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 9 p.m., Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
