Michael was Larger Than Life and never to be forgotten. I think of him and his Wonderful Parents whenever I hear the song "More Today Than Yesterday." They don't come any better than Pat and Marie! I was blessed to have known them!

Heard "More Today Than Yesterday" on the radio the other day. Always reminds me of Mike and the great parties we had at his house when we were kids. His parents were The Best. I think about him all the time. Wish I had kept in touch his last years. He's Still bigger than life in my mind and heart. <3

Can't believe it is two years. RIP my dear friend.

Lou, I know this is Michael's page but after reading your blurb I felt I had to respond. I worked with Mike at Nazareth Hospital and we became good friends as well as him being a dear comrade and mentor to me. I not only think of Michael often, I talk about him ... not in a bad way either! I reminisce about him almost everyday...in lighthearted laughter and conversation. We had such fun while doing our jobs. He was very good with words too and often times I would ask him for much needed advice as I wanted to sound smart like him!! Thanks for keeping his legacy book open!! I also talk to him rather often as I keep his picture on my refrigerator so he is near me! Glenn, if you are reading this, please know Michael will never be forgotten! Terrie Cannon

Michael, I think of you often. I renewed your guest book just to make sure your legacy lives on in words. When anyone wants to say something to you or tell you a story they can submit it here. I have a new “job”. I get paid to blog. Through the years my family and friends including you have told me to put my crazy life's adventures and stories (of which you are part of many) on paper. Here is the beginning of those blogs: www.loupinto.com . Thank you for the memories, your friendship and being a part of my Life. I miss you.

Even though we only met once, he was a very kind and compassionate man. We had one thing in common: the love of cats! He spoke of them as though they were his own children, and you can tell this man had a huge heart and kind words for anyone that came into his life. Our Good Lord loves to have people like Mike by his side, and he is looking down on all of us today. Don't worry Mike, the kitties are well-taken care of, you go ahead and rest in peace. May God bless your soul.....

Glenn,
Fran and I send our heartfelt sympathy. We are very sorry for your loss. I was shocked when I visited his facebook page. We will always remember his humour, love for animals and his caring nature. He was always there for Fran and I when we needed him the most. I am sure he is already holding court in heaven.
Michael give Yvonne and our Dad a big hug and kiss. I am sure Merry Cat, Frotto, Sammy and Pippin were waiting to great you along with Zucha.
Sandhurst Drive will never be the same.

What a wonderful man! So eager to extend a warm, neighborly hand. I will miss our evening chats across our gardens, your amzing sense of humor, uplifting outlook on life and that contagious, larger than life laugh! You left a bright mark on so many lives. If only you hadn't left us so soon! Glenn, I can't imagine what you must be going through, but if there is anything we can do, just knock on our door!

Michael, although I haven't seen you in quite a few years, I can remember like yesterday all the laughs we had in high school. The parties at your house and the Pinto's, going bowling, just having fun. Your laugh was so infectious, I can still recall it. Rest in peace my friend and know you were loved by many.

Mike, I'm sitting here in Las Vegas (I drove out here working for Steve)thinking about you and wishing I can tell you about what's happened to me in the last few days traveling here. I don't have to tell you that when we traveled anywhere we used to say "it's not a vacation, it's an adventure!" The many places we traveled too; Italy twice, Hawaii twice, stopping in Ireland and Paris. Even just a holiday weekend down the shore or those trips to Uncle Micky's place in Mistic Islands.Every trip had a story....I can fill a book up. Thank you for a Lifetime of memories. I miss you, Lou

Michael,
Shocked and saddened at the loss of such a wonderful person... Your wit, smile and view of life was like that of no other. You knew how to make the best of every situation and will be missed around the hallways of Horizon. I will especially miss our elevator chats, English accent conversations, and your kind and encouraging ways. Farewell my friend, and may your family find peace during this very diffucult time.

Michael,

You have touched my life in so many ways. You lived your life to the fullest and your sparkling personality drew everyone to you. There wasn't a day that went by while I worked with you at Horizon that we did not LAUGH. The kind of humor we shared together cannot be matched. You were a great co-worker and a wonderful friend. I've learned so much from you in so many ways. It hurts all of us to let you go, but our paths will cross again. Until that day, Addio Amico Mio - Che Riposi in Pace. I love you! Your Camare, Irene

I still remember the day you were with me at the hospital when Michael was ready to come into this world. We thought we could see him graduate and have a family. I can't belive you're gone. You have been my brother. I am going you miss you dearly. You are the best "compadre" anyone could have. Words cannot express how I feel.

In loving memory of the best godfather of all time.
We all love and miss you terribly. This caught us by surprise.
You were a loving, funny man who could be friends with anyone. You were always there for us. You always made our "down" days go high into the sky. We will never forget you. Rest in peace.

We know you are with us in spirit, and I promised you that I will graduate from high school like you always wanted.

Mike I will miss our chats and all the fun we had working together at Nazareth Hospital. You taught me so much ... not just about nursing but about life too! I will cherrish all our "best laughter days" always. Your cousin Donna is right .... you are leaving a void in my heart too. There will never be anyone as funny and witty as you! Goodbye Boris... Love Natasha. Glen, I am so sorry for your loss. Terrie Cannon

In memory of Michael...life makes no promises, no guaranties, and provides no safe haven. We live, we love and we grieve. You've had it all in your life. Your presence was profound among us. Your zest for life overwhelming. And, most of all...your caring and commitment to those you loved was so evident. I will miss your humor, your laugh and most of all your spirit. Look down among us, Mike, and smile. We will sense it, we will feel it and we will LOVE it. Your co-worker, Linda Kelly (a.k.a. Sr. Euphemia of the Five Wounds)

Michael was not only a neighbor but a beloved friend. We shared many good times and have memories to last a lifetime. He referred to us as the Pioneers of Sandhurst Drive; we've dubbed him the "Mayor" or "St. Francis" because of his love for all living creatures, who loved him back. My heart is saddened by the loss of a dear friend, but I know you and Rich are sharing Margaritas in Heaven!

I got to know Michael at work (Horizon). He was a great guy and a terrific nurse. He had the type personality that could light up the room as soon as he walked into it, always had a great story or a funny joke. He was also sincere and cared deeply about people. Mike was also very passionate about his work. He also talked about how happy he was in his personal life w/ Glenn. He was beaming from ear to ear when he was getting married and going on his honeymoon.
I was totally shocked to learn of his passing. Even though I am no longer working at the same company, I've thought of Michael often and how much I miss seeing him. His warm and always pleasant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
I am very sorry for Glenn and Mike's family for their loss!

Mike loved life and enjoyed every minute of it. His sparkling personality, ready sense of humor and quick wit could make the dullest day fun. He was always ready with a kind word and a warm hug. He is leaving a huge void in many hearts, this one included, and will be sadly and fondly missed in every passing day hereafter by his friend, Donna Fitzgerald.
