EUGENE RENZ Obituary

RENZ


EUGENE E. JR., passed away on February 13, 2013 of Malvern, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene E. and Johanna Renz (nee Lander). Mr. Renz was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph Preparatory School, a 1953 graduate of Notre Dame University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and received his Law Degree from Temple Law School in 1959. He was a patent attorney for over 50 years. He was an expert bridge player, tennis and paddle tennis player. He was a member of Overbrook Golf Club. He enjoyed traveling to Jamaica to see his extended family. He attended Daylesford Abbey. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Dorothy L. Renz (nee Feifer), his children Cynthia L. McGauley (James W. McGauley, Jr.), Carol L. St. Clair (Arthur W. St. Clair Jr.) and Susan M. Renz (partner Catherine M. Stevenson); also survived by grandchildren Arthur III, Sean, Ryan, Matthew, Jillian, Charles, Joey, Destiny, Bridget and James III. He is also survived by his sister Marie Basile (Chris) and his brothers Francis Renz (partner Randy Grissom) and Ben O'Neill (Mary). Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Daylesford Abbey, 220 S. Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Daylesford Abbey. Arrangements by THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, West Chester,PA (610)431-9000.
