Linda Links Obituary

Linda Jo Links VIRGINIA BEACH - Linda Jo Links was called home by God after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She retired from the Virginia Beach City Schools with more than 35 years of service. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Stella C. Links. Left to cherish her memory are her father, Joseph E. Links; brother, Kirk Links; two nieces; three nephews; two grandnieces and two grandnephews. Linda dedicated her herself to the support of deployed military and helping abandoned animals. In lieu of flowers, she would have preferred for friends to consider making donations in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project, Hope for Life Rescue Inc., (animal support) or the American Cancer Society. Friends may attend a Mass that will be said in Linda's honor Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd.,Virginia Beach. We will all miss Linda Jo and for those left behind there will be a large void in our hearts. She went too soon!
