Magdalene Booker Obituary

Magdalene A. Booker SUFFOLK - Magdalene Armstrong Booker, 86, a native of Suffolk and the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Bevie Armstrong, passed away peacefully Dec. 19, 2010. She retired as a printer from the Navy Print Services at Little Creek Naval Base. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Phillips; grandchildren, Clark Tanner, April Tanner, and Laurel Tanner Frink; four great-grandchildren, Stephen Grey Ferguson, Blake Ferguson, Madison Tanner, and Sydney Frink. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Suffolk Humane Society at P.O. Box 5038, Suffolk, VA 23435. Parr Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
