Marcia Parrish Obituary

Marcia Parrish CHESAPEAKE - Marcia Parrish, 45, of the 2300 block of Gilmerton Road, passed away Nov. 13, 2010 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born Sept. 25, 1965 in Trinidad, West Indies. She was a graduate of Dowling College and Airline Technical Institute. She was employed with Continental Airlines as a supervisor for over 20 years. She was predeceased by a brother, Elvette. She is survived by one daughter, Mariah; two sons, Xavier and Zachary; her parents, Genevieve and Anthony Durant; four sisters, Renee, Andrea, Stephanette and Erica; four brothers, Edmund, Vaughan, Many and Lil' Tony; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Ave. Chapel. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
