To The Gibbs Family! We were saddened to hear of Elder Sam Gibbs' passing. Such a gentle giant of a man! As I would play the organ, I can definitely remember looking to my right, into the congregation and ALWAYS seeing Elder Sam and you all, his family in the center of that section, and he ushering in! Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. God Bless!

Elder Gibbs.... A wonderful, mighty, and sweet-spirited man of God. I first met him in the our building across the street when I came up for prayer one Sunday... He prayed through with me, and God heard and answered. He truly made an impact on my life. Everytime I saw him from then to this day he would greet me with a hug, a smile, and joke of how we shared the same last name prior to my marriage. He will be missed. Much love, prayers, and the comfort only God can give to the family... We will see him again, AMEN!

We were "blessed" to know Sammy Gibbs and his family at Rock Church. Sam was a man who had that intense look in his eyes whenever he talked about the Lord he loved to serve. Sam will be surely missed by all who knew him.

May the Lord comfort and give you His peace during this time.
