Nicholas Perriello Obituary

Nicholas E. Perriello, II

Chesapeake - Nicholas Eugene Perriello II, 59, of Chesapeke, VA, passed peacefully in the early morning hours on July 13, 2016 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

Nick was born in Augsburg, Germany, to parents Lt. Col Nicholas Perriello and Ida Yvonne Perriello of Springfield, VA. He was the eldest brother of D. Paul Perriello and John Charles Perriello. Nick was married to former wife Barbara Anne Kelly for over 27 years, with whom they had a daughter, Kelly. He was employed by American Systems for over 37 years and served as a Navy Customer Service Representative at Navy 311 located at Norfolk Navel Base. Nick was known for his contagious happiness and being the life of the party, his love and devotion for his family and friends, and his ability to make light of any situation.

Nick is predeceased by his brother D. Paul Perriello, and he is survived by his parents Lt. Col Nicholas Perriello and Ida Yvonne Perriello, his only daughter, Kelly Ann Perriello, his sister-in-law and nephew Laurie Jo and Anthony Paul Perriello, and his youngest brother and his wife, John and Susan Perriello, and their children Marie and Jimmy.

The Memorial Service for Nick will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 13, 2016 at Oman Funeral Home & Crematory at 653 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, VA. Memorial donations may be made to the local chapter of the ALS Association. Friends are invited to share memories and sign the online guestbook at www.omanfh.com.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss you all have suffered. I just found out on 1/17/17. My dearest condolences go for you all in this time of need. He was a wonderful person. He was my boss for 7 years and could make you laugh even when you were having a bad day. I will always remember him and his smiling face he was my boss and friend. He will be missed by all. You all will remain in my thoughts and prayers as time goes on.

I was saddened to learn of Nick's passing. As a former classmate of Nick's from West Springfield High Class of 1974 I remember Nick well for his great presence and sense of humor. He has left us much too early. My condolences, prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.
