SUNNYLAnd - June M. Graham, age 76, of Sunnyland since 1954, passed away at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.
She was born Nov. 3, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Ivan and Hazel (Reay) Webb. She married Donald R. Graham on Nov. 3, 1949, in Peoria.
He survives, along with three sons, Duane (Tina) Graham of East Peoria, Michael Graham of Washington and Donald Graham Jr. of Lacon; and a granddaughter, Carrie Weller, whom she raised; six additional grandchildren, Michele, Eric, Tiffany, Bethany, Donald D. and Destiny June; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion (Sherril) Mauer of Florida; and her lifelong friend, Marion Smith.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Webb; her mother, Hazel Draper; one sister, Virginia Lane; and an infant brother, Austin Ivan Webb.
June was a homemaker, a mother and a bookkeeper for many years for her husband's two service stations, Washington Shell and Skelly Oil in Washington. She was also a bookkeeper for Tony and Sons, John Bearce Ford and Mitch's Tire Center, all in Washington, and Mahoney Accounting in Eureka.
She loved playing Bunco and Hearts with family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. David Troyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
