John was important to me through high school as my stepfather. He was there to teach me how to drive and helped my mother and me to get me the things I needed to get through school. I appreciate all that he had done and I hope he is now happy with his parents once again.

To the family of John Wrolen
Please know that I and countless others are praying for you during this moment in time. As a former Methodist Hospital co-worker, John was an outstanding individual. Years ago, I lost a nephew at age 19. Upon arrival to the scene of the incident, John Wrolen was in charge. My family, friends and I received heartfelt compassion and sympathy from him. Today, the younger brother to my LATE NEPHEW is a Gary police officer. I THANK GOD FOR ALL officers as well as other public servants; your works have NOT gone unnoticed. FAMILY - thanks for sharing Wrolen with us.
