MAROCCHI ANNE A.
Of Providence Point, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Wife of the late Andrew A. Marocchi; mother of John E. of Columbus, OH, James A. (Kathryn Ann) of Winfield, IL and Paul A. (Holly Ann) of Deland, FL; grandmother of Brittany Ann and Jason Andrew; sister of the late Robert C. Adams, John F. Adams and Joan A. Louis. Anne was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was a member and advisor of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was a 25 year volunteer as a mobility trainer and had other administrative responsibilities at Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh. There will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Bernard Church on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh, 1800 West St., Homestead, PA 15120 or to the Western PA Conversancy, 800 Waterfront Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

We will miss Anne, we shared a passion for Frank Loyd Wright!

John,Jim,Paul: My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. And Holly, I know you also share with all the family their pain with the of loss of Anne.

BTW,she was known to some of her friends as Alice Anne...you may or may not know the significance of that. But it was typical of her realistic and uncompromising assessment of the way things are.

I knew her for only a few years, but we seemed to hit it off from from the start when we first met at the opening celebration of our new home at Providence Point.

I need not remind you of the special gift she had for insightful analysis and acerbic wit.

So we will miss her gentle but commanding presence even as we celebrate the time we knew her.
