Dear Phyllis and family,
We were both so sorry to learn of Louie’s passing. Even though,
we haven’t seen you in many years, we have very good high school memories of both of you. After all, we were “BHS couples” back in the ‘50s-‘60.
I seem to remember that it snowed for one of our big dances, maybe the GAL? A bunch of us were sitting around, girls in gowns and boots, wondering where we could go after. You and Louie said you’d go wherever Tack and I wanted to go. Nice.
Tack also remembers Lou as very talented and hard-working at playing end in football. “He had good hands,” is Tack’s recollection.
When the cheerleaders helped serve the players’ lunches at summer training camp, I also remember Mrs. DeNardo as a mainstay of the lunch program. She was always so pleasant and congenial.
What wonderful memories you must have. After initial mourning, we hope and pray that they will sustain you and the family.
Sincerely,
Carole (Yagello) and Jim Takach

Phyliss, I was so sorry to hear about your loss...I lost Bill Priore, my husband of 44 years, 1 1/2 years ago. It is hard, but you will get through it. It just take time...a lot of time.

I worked with Lou when I was a young engineer, and he taught me a lot. My prayers are with his family.
