My brother was a great person and a wonderful man. He was the Mayor everywhere he went. From Flirting with the waitresses to charming the staff at work. Danny always knew how to make the ladies smile!
Danny was generous and would share anything with you, anything you needed, if Dan could get it to you he would.
And he NEVER forgot who or where his stuff was! (Right guys! LOL)
Once he got a really cool dirt bike. He was so happy, he loved that bike, he took care of it and rode it everyday. When asked if I could take a ride he was very hesitant, then reluctantly, he explained what I was supposed to do to make this bike move. However, I was not to go fast and I must slow down around the corners because he did not want me to drop his bike. Danny watched with trepidation as he let his baby go off with me, what a trusting brother. As I took off in a very wobbly fashion Dan followed closely behind; dropping back slightly when I sped up on the straight away. I could hear him off in the distance yelling something..... "SLOW DOWN"; I think was what he was screaming. I knew for sure that was what he was yelling once Danny was standing on the corner of the trail, looking over me and his baby, the bike. He was still screaming. His message was slightly different, no longer was it slow down, this time it was;" are you ok? That looked cool! Why did you crash my bike and it better not be ruined!"
Please remember how much Danny loved life! He was up for an adventure each and every day! When Dan went to California at the young age of 18, he enjoyed his summer evenings on the beach. He met new friends and learned what it was like to be on his own. Dan embraced every new adventure with the fun spirit he had. Laughed a lot and made most of us laugh a lot too!
Smile when you see the ice start to freeze over. Dan would be looking for a pick-up game!
It was a interesting ride with Danny for sure - you never knew what he was going to say next - Thanks Danny Gordon Chaisson for being around all these years AND Thanks for bringing all the joy to my life! I love you.
