Abigael Harrison-Ayers Obituary

Abigael J.
Harrison-Ayers
Abigael J. Harrison-Ayers was born December 1, 1980 and unexpectedly left this world June 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Abby is survived by her beloved husband Charles Ayers and their precious baby girl Anna Christine Harrison-Ayers, and her faithful dog Sabastan. She is also survived by her beloved mother Juanita Christine Lougher, her loving father Arthur Nelson Harrison, brother Jacob Harrison, and sister Sarah Harrison (Brian Durkin) as well as her godson Daniel Welcome and godmother Melody Welcome. She will be remembered by many friends who loved her dearly, especially Suzie Brundage and Heather Dvorsky-Smey. Abby also had a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who loved and will miss her. Abby was predeceased by maternal grandmother Geraline Knowles, maternal grandfather Evan Lougher, paternal grandmother, Arvilla Harrison, and paternal grandfather John Harrison. Abby graduated from Binghamton High School in 2000. One of Abby's first loves was dance. She danced at Sherry Russo's Dance Studio for 23 years. She loved hockey games with her father, and going anywhere with her mother. She loved the Red Sox, Disney World, anything Mickey Mouse, traveling and lady bugs. Most recently Abby loved spending time with her perfect daughter and the husband she adored. Abby's greatest joy was being a mother and wife and being with the ones she loved. Abby was the sweetest angel. If Abby counted you as a friend, you had a friend for life. She was with us for far too short a time, but filled our lives with so much love and laughter that everyday with Abby was a blessing. Our hearts are breaking. Abby's passing is truly our loss and heaven's gain.
Funeral services will be held at the J.A.McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton Saturday at 1 p.m. Reverend Corey S. VanKuren will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Friday from 5-8 p.m.

Dear Neeter and family- I was always struck by the inherent goodness of this young lady. Even as a youngster, her kind and sweet nature was noticeably different than the average child. If there is such a thing as an earth angel, Abby was one. She is a student that I never have, and never will, forget. My sincere condolences to you all.

To Miss Neter, Mr. Harrison, Jake, Sarah and Charles,

May you always be filled with Abby's radiant smile and unending love. May her happy-go-lucky attitude remind you to smile. May her strength empower you to continue on. May her spirit live within you all for many many years to come! May you always see Abby in Anna and remember all the wonderful moments we all were so blessed to be apart of.

Abby was so much like a sister to me. Connected at the hip for many vacations, she and I had a ball. Our years of goofing around and letting nothing stop us. She taught me a lot. I am deeply saddened by her departure, but knowing that she is watching us all from up above.

My love to you all.
