Susan and Shannon,

I am sorry for your loss. I hope you both felt the love and adoration from his Coast Guard family at his service yesterday. I had the pleasure of being mentored by Mike during his time at MLC. Our fireside chats still resonate. I've used his teaching style on several occasions to mentor fellow Coast Guardsmen. He will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Susan & Family,
Mike was such a great guy, We worked together at HNFS. His viewpoints and comments on life wrapped with his tremendous sense of humor always helped to make the days go by. He's been greatly missed since he left but frequently visited us to keep us posted on life. We are all so sorry for your loss.

Susan and Family,

We only knew Mike for a short season; just long enough for each of us to know that he was a very special person. While we were a small part of his work family, he touched our hearts with his honesty, sincerity and compassion; we will never forget him and are fortunate to have spent time with him.

May God replace your sadness and bless you with fond memories of happier times. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you walk through this difficult time.

With our deepest condolences,
Jackie and the staff of Health Net's MMCC

My prayers and sympathy go out to the Bunzey family. Mike was a co-worker a few years ago at HNFS. He always had a smile on his face and a word of encouragement to lift you up. We all missed him when he left, but will truly miss him even more now. He loved his family and talked about his daughter alot, he was very proud. I know that we will see him again in our permanent home; heaven. May God's hand of peace and mercy bless his family in this time of sadness.

Sue and Shannon, you are in my thoughts and prayers. It has been awhile since we have been together but it seems like yesterday that we shared so many good times at Cape Cod. To Mike, thank you for your service to our country but now it is time to rest. Heaven has gained a hero. God Bless those who lost this one and may we all meet again in heaven.
