Keith McDonnell Obituary

Born 78 years ago and raised in San Francisco, CA. Keith passed away peacefully at home in Santa Rosa on Nov. 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas McDonnell and Claire Brennan McDonnell, and his sister, Sharon Healy. Keith married the late Mary Allen McClung and together they had three children, Anne, Tom and John. Keith attended Lowell High School and SF State obtaining a degree in accounting. Prior to his retirement, Keith worked for the Finance Dept. of the City of Santa Rosa. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his son Tom and wife Maribel; grandsons, Harrison and Hudson; nephews Mike (Beth), Matt and Tom Healy, Jesse Kelly, Nick, Josh and Clayton Thomas; nieces Megan Healy, Hannah Rubenstahl and Elaine Thomas. He also leaves behind brother-in-laws Robert (Laurie), Peter (Julie), and George (Pamela) Thomas; cousins Beverly Tanem, Mary Spellman, Don McGrath and special cousin, Janet McDonnell. At his request no formal service with be held, the family will gather in the Sierras next summer for a memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2455 Bennett Valley Road, Suite B-214, Santa Rosa, CA 95404 or your favorite charity.
