Harry Davis Obituary

Harry O. Davis Jr., "Sonny", passed away on Oct. 12, 2010 at his home in McKenney, Va.

He was born in Bradshaw, W.Va. to Harry O. Davis Sr. and Nora Mae Davis. Harry moved to California in 1956 when he joined the Air Force. After serving in the Air Force he started a family. After 46 years in California, Harry retired to Virginia. He is predeceased by his parents Harry and Nora Davis.

He is survived by son, Don Davis Sr. (Melanie), of Milpitas, Calif.; daughter, Nora Marie Dipko (Kevin), of Gilroy, Calif.; daughter, Kristine Perez (Dan), of San Jose, Calif.; stepdaughter, Monica Galindo-Dass, of Antioch, Calif.; sisters, Julia Davis, Elizabeth Scarton; brother-in-law, Rick Scarton; and brother Charles Davis. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Kristina, Frank (Mannie), Nicolas, Donnie Jr., Jason, Cody, Kristopher, Samantha, Kenny and Silvia; nephew and caregiver, Jason Celaya; and many other nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, at Petersburg Wesleyan Methodist Church, located at 5202 Front Drive, Petersburg, VA 23803 (804) 861-8065. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
