When I think of how I want to make people feel welcome, Davis is the example that I still seek to emulate. A rare and beautiful soul indeed -- far more powerful than the disease to which its earthly vehicle gave way. Our family's fondest thoughts and prayers will remain with Lisa and the entire family.

Dear Eichelberger family,
I know you know how special Davis was, but the possitive impact he had on so many people is amazing. The warmth and carring he shared with everyone who came in contact with him was a gift to everyone lucky enough to have known him.

To have known Davis was to have been blessed - I know those blessing continue for me even now

Dear Eichelberger family and friends,
I was so sad to hear the news about Davis. He was one of a special group of friends from the middle/high school years that seemed to do everything together and who still hold a very special place in my heart. His smile always brightened up many otherwise dreary high school days.

My thoughts are with all of you. He will be greatly missed.

What a tremendous loss for the world, and those who knew Davis as a friend. We were lucky to have been around to appreciate his kindness and friendship while we could. I believe I can speak for all of us in TwinValleyRiders in offering our most sincere condolences to Lisa and family, and our heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to have shared a few miles with Davis along the journey. May the happiness that Davis brought to many of us also bring peace in time.

I will always remember the smile, the hugs, and the easy way Davis always welcomed me to stay with he and Lisa during my yearly visits to Blacksburg. Great memories forever of late nights, cheering the Hokies on at football games.
Praying for Lisa during this difficult time.
