Dear Jean and family..
My heart goes out to you in the passing of Phil. He was such a bright spot in all our lives, with his great sense of humor and his Christian example. He was the best employer I have ever had and I have had some good ones. As you, I will miss him. May God's love and grace surround and comfort you always....Love and Prayers

It was a pleasure to get to meet Mr. Day. He had an exuberance about him that would show even in his pain and definitely when he looked at his loved ones. I met him during his illness, yet he personified dignity and grace. I could tell that he always thought of his loved ones and wanted them taken care of as well. I will miss our talks, even the ones about the Redskins. In all my earnest, I could never persuade him to become a Steelers Fan. He was such a strong man and brought laughter even during his suffering.
He's out of sight for a little while, and you'll miss his touch and smile,

But you know he is safe in the home above where there is nothing but Peace and Love.

My prayers are with you. I pray that our Lord and Saviour will Comfort you and give each of you a Spirit of Peace. Death is but an open door to be with our Lord and Saviour.

You did wonderfully by your loved one and assured that his last days were filled with love, joy and laughter.
Mrs. Day, you and Mr. Day were such an inspiration. Your lives together were definitely a "true love" story. You have left an indelible imprint upon my heart.

Please let me know if I can help you at any time.
