Sheila was in my older Brother's Class and I met her when I was in the 8th grade. I sat with Sheila and Barbara Altizer in the sax section. They both were so nice to me and I guess I kept them laughing. Everyday as we got our instruments out and then put them away, Shelia would play "He's A Rebel". I certainly remember you both as a couple. Those were the best days and I will continue to remember and celebrate her friendship to a little 8th grader who was just entering high school.

Dear Hershel,
Sheila and you have been in my thoughts so much over the past year and I am sorry that I never got in touch. The last time I saw Sheila, she came to visit me with your precious son. We were close in high school, but life and the years have a way of separating us. I am so happy that she had your love to sustain her through life. As long as she lives in your heart and memory she will be with you and the memories of all of your happy times will sustain you and bring a smile to your face in years to come. God be with you and your family.

Herschel and family,
You are still in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. Our daughter and her family live in Mooresville and we kept saying we were going to look you and Sheila up when we came to town but it didn't happen. We now regret that. May you find peach and comfort knowing that she is no longer in pain. God Bless.

Dear Herschel and Family, My heart goes out to you all in the loss of one so special. Although I haven't seen Sheila in many years, I have known her all my life. Our parents were lifelong friends. Sheila and I played together as youngsters and I was two years ahead of her in school (class of '63). I will continue my prayers for you and your family. May God surround you with His peace and love. With heartfelt sympathy, Joyce Jones Martin
