Paul Salisbury Obituary
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin and friend passed away on Oct. 1, 2017. Paul was born in Provo, Utah Sept. 14, 1931 to Paul and Chloe Murdock Salisbury. He married Marilyn Vincent on Feb. 8, 1958. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised 3 children. Paul graduated from BY High in 1949 and attended BYU. He was active in sports, especially tennis. He was on the BYU tennis team and won countless tournaments. He served in France and Germany in the US Army from 1953 to 1955.
He loved the outdoors, especially fishing with his grandchildren. Paul worked in Sales throughout his life. He managed Triangle Tire Service in Bountiful, making many life-long friends. In his later years he served children as a crossing guard for North Salt Lake Police Dept.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many callings. He was known for his love for others, kind, generous nature, and a strong, honest work ethic.
Paul and Marilyn spent 60 years together. He will be missed greatly by family and friends. Preceded in death by son, Craig, parents, and sister, Geraldine Salisbury Kelly. He is survived by wife, Marilyn, children, Brian (Teresa), Andrea Myrick and 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing held at Orchard Stake Center, 3599 Orchard Dr. Bountiful, Fri. Oct. 6, at 10:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm at the church. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.

Hi Paul !
Way late in checking in with you. I hope you are enjoying your new adventure. If you see Verdell Chamberlain on the other side, tell him hello for me as well as my Uncle Dave.
I wanted to thank you for the great business you sent my way during my time at Goodyear. Sad to hear of your passing. You were a great guy and a good friend to me. You probably know the unbelievable cluster it is now around the old Triangle! Every time I pass it I think of you. Good Luck to you over there! I definitely will look you up if I make it.

We are so very sorry for your loss. We were away at Jeff's so we missed being there to express our deep sympathy in person. We have so many memories of you living near us. All of the car care Paul helped us through. He always had a smile for everyone. May you all be blessed with peace.

It was a pleasure to know such a loving man and have his hugs on a regular basis. He was, by far, the best tennis player I ever played with!!

It was always so nice to spend a few minutes talking to Paul when we would come to visit you. He was always so nice and cheerful. We will miss him a lot but perhaps Craig needed him at this time. My love and prayers are with you and your family.
