Jesse Santos Obituary
Jesse U. De Los Santos was born on November 28, 1932, in San Antonio, Texas, and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on March 24, 2018. Jesse is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lupe L. De Los Santos; parents - Jose and Josephine De Los Santos; brother - Joe De Los Santos and sisters - Blanche Hare and Emma Perez.
He is survived by his four children: Lili D. Vasquez (Robert), Jay De Los Santos (Lorraine), Lori De Los Santos, Luci De Los Santos and honorary daughter, Heather Machingo, "Companion of Monday Night Dinners & Sports Television". As well, Jesse is survived by his brother: Armando (Lupe) De Los Santos; grandchildren: Stefanie Marie Gorner, Jared De Los Santos, Vincent Zamora and Santino Zamora; great grandchildren: Bailey Elizabeth Gorner and Barrett Cordelia Gorner, as well as many nieces and nephews. A special "thank you" to his caretakers - Josie and Laura for their unwavering commitment, patience and devotion; Grace Hospice & staff - Dr. Hubbard, Royce, Carmen, Belinda and many others for their utmost attention to patient care; and, Casa Linda Home Health Care - Maria Gonzalez, who was instrumental in building the "care team" for Jesse and Lupe 8 years ago. Jesse was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at M.E. Rodriguez Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 9:15 am for a 10:00 am Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II. Services entrusted to M.E. Rodriguez Funeral Home.
