David- its been awhile since i last went to see you, but there isn't a day i don't think about hanging out with you and talking over the BS that is going on and just laugh it all away. Its going on 9yrs now since you left to be with God upstairs. Thought about you yesterday and sometimes i just don't know what to say but just a simple text or call maybe a couple drinks would definitely be worth it right now. Miss you brotha!

David Jr, I know your time on earth was short, but just know it was well spent. You touch the hearts of all our family. Your big smile and loving attitude always made the family get togethers more enjoyable. I'm glad to have had you as a big cousin. You will never be forgotten. You will live on through Dominique who I love with all my heart. So I'm not saying goodbye because we will see each other again someday. You are in safe hands now with Grandma and Uncle Rudy. I love you always and forever.

In your memory I will try to raise Dominique as best I can, While I can never step in your shoes I can place mine next to yours.

We had something that most families never have with a daughter/step daughter relationship. You trusted me with "D" and we spoke with no issues. Never any hate for each other...I been telling everyone how you are good guy and when "D" was with you for the weekend and my very own daughter ask us if she could go also, I was fine with it. I gave you my daughter for the weekend. I don't even let her go with some of my own family over night but I had no issues with you having her the weekend.

You trusted me with your daughter and in return I trusted you with mine.

I ask one final favor of you,
Help give D the strength to cope with this hard time in her life. I feel so helpless when she's breaking down.
