Constance Davidson Obituary

Constance "Connie" Davidson passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, in San Luis Obispo. The people who knew and loved Connie will remember her fiercely independent spirit, commitment to giving back and extraordinary creative abilities. Throughout her long career, she received many awards and accolades for advertising and journalism. While living on the Central Coast she was instrumental in securing almost three million dollars in grant funding for rehabilitating and developing parks and trails. Connie's passion for travel and adventure led her all over the world. She traveled throughout Europe, Japan, Nepal, India and many times to the place where she felt her heart was home '? New Zealand. During her seven-year battle with breast cancer, Connie worked as a hospice volunteer and studied creative writing and Italian at Cuesta College. An avid nature lover, Connie's favorite past time was walking the trails and beaches of Cambria with her beloved Great Dane, Buddha. Connie leaves behind her daughter, Annamarie; mother, Charlotte; three sisters Patricia, Ruth and Eileen; two brothers John, and Thomas; and many friends and extended family.
