Kril, Michell* - Saratoga Springs  
Michel (Mike) Kril SARATOGA SPRINGS - Michel (Mike) Kril, 71 died of heart attack at sea on Dec. 3, 2014 in the company of friends sailing from Gibraltar to Martinique on a catamaran. Born on Mar. 23, 1943, Michel was educated in France and received a master’s in Civil Engineering / Soil Mechanics at UC Berkeley. He was the son of the late Jean and Helene Kril, France. Survived by his wife Ann and two daughters Julia Murdock and Maryann Kril/Foley and his four grandchildren: Benjamin and Charlie Murdock and Devin and Audrey Foley. In France he is also survived by his brother, Jean Marie Kril and two sisters: Genevieve Antony and Jeannine Zundel. He was a long time resident of Saratoga Springs. Michel worked as a civil engineer, project mgr and Vice President of companies in France, Tunisia, California, VA, Montreal, NJ and after retiring started his own company as a consultant and while living in NJ and NY worked with clients around the world. He was widely recognized in the construction industry with his work on claims, new technologies as well as personnel and plant management. Michel loved sailing, tennis, skiing, music. He played the harmonica and was Annie’s favorite dance partner. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec 28, 2014 at 2 pm at the Saratoga Springs United Methodist Church (SSUMC), 175 Fifth Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent in memorial for Michel Kril to the Northeastern Woodworkers Association, PO Box 246, Rexford, NY, 12148 or to SSUMC at the address above.
