Anne Nocket Obituary

Anne T. Nocket, 91, of Schoentown, passed away Friday at ManorCare Health Services, Pottsville.

Born in Schoentown, Oct. 2, 1919, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Stanek Nocket.

She graduated from Pottsville High School in 1937.

She worked as a supervisor for Litton Industries, Williamsport, for more than 30 years until retiring in 1983.

She was a member of St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Thomas, Michael and John Nocket and Anthony and Joseph Sucidlo; and four sisters, Helen Moody, Mary Bussel, Sophie Zember and Catherine Krause.

Surviving are two brothers, Edward M. Nocket, Schoentown, and Walter F. Nocket and his wife, Ann M., Palm Bay, Fla.; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, with the Rev. David W. Karns as the celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Port Carbon.
