CLEO DICK Obituary

CLEO JONES DICK March 29, 1919 - November 18, 2010 On November 18, 2010, Cleo Jones Dick passed away peacefully at her home in Redlands, at the age of 91. She was born in Creighton, Missouri, on March 29, 1919. After completing high school and two years of business school, she entered civil service work in 1940. This work took her to Washington D.C. and to Dayton, Ohio, where she met Norman, W. Dick. They were married in Dayton on January 28, 1945. After Norman was transferred to Norton Air Force Base, they settled in Redlands, California. Cleo's biggest joy was loving and caring for her family and pets and being the perfect hostess. She was an active member of the Redlands Police Department Civilian Volunteer Patrol and the Norton Air Force Base Wives' Tennis Club. Cleo leaves behind her children, Larry Dick of Redlands and Debbie Myers of Redlands; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband and five siblings predeceased her. A Memorial Service will be held at Cortner Chapel, 221 Brookside Ave., Redlands, December 11, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to City of Redlands/CVP 365 Club and mailed to P.O. Box 1025, Redlands, CA 92373.
