Bobbie was born in Shreveport, LA to Robert Gideon Francis and Marylou Esther Owens Francis on July 1, 1925 and grew up in Gibsland, LA, where she met and married the love of her life, Ollie Lee Streeter. Following Ollie's service and discharge in World War II they moved to Bossier City, LA, where they raised their family.

Bobbie went home to be with her Heavenly Father on February 23, 2011 in Shreveport, LA. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Bossier City, LA. She loved her church and the Parker Sunday School Class that she attended for many years. Her passion was working in her yard among her plants and flowers and spending time with her family. Bobbie loved her family and spent many happy hours traveling with her husband, family and friends traveling to many areas of the country in their RV.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband of 67 years, Ollie, and sister, Eleanor Francis Green. She leaves behind two grateful daughters, Marion Streeter Morrison and husband Richard of Benton, LA; Mary Virginia (Ginger) Streeter of Bossier City, LA; her brother Charles Francis and wife Betty of Haughton, LA.

She is also survived by one grandson, Kevin W. Reed and wife Vicki, three great grandchildren, Tiffany Reed Worsham, Michael Reed and wife Emily, and Ashlea Reed, two great-great grandchildren, Kailea Worsham and Christopher Reed and many extended family members. She loved dogs and had many "fur" babies throughout the years and leaves behind her faithful companion, Molly.

The family would like to express appreciation to Dr. James Jackson, who cared for her for many years, Montclair Assisted Living and staff, the memory care unit for their loving care in the last few years of her life, and Odyssey Hospice for their kindness and care of our mother.

Ginger. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. There are a lot of memories with her from the ball park. She loved sitting in her lawn chair by the backstop just in case she needed to help the umpire make a call. She was a sweet lady.
