I worked with Mrs. Lundy at O'Farrell Junior High School as her T.A. for three years in the late sixties. She may not have known it, but she was a wonderful mentor to me. I watched her teaching techniques and the ways she interacted with students, and later copied them. I went on to a successful 35-year teaching career. She was always wonderful to me, and I admired her greatly.

My Auntie was an amazing woman! She inspired me to begin my own business, and gave me such a wonderful role model! She was my mentor! In life, and in business! She and her sister Dorothy were so instrumental in making me who I am today. While I will miss her smile and quick wit and personality, I know she is in a better place and for that I am grateful!

Twenty five years ago my partner and I had the good fortune to become next door neighbors with Evelyn and Phil, Shortly after moving in they invited us over for cocktails and we got to know them. Later that evening my partner remarked "the Lundy's are really class acts" .
Over the years we came to know Evelyn as a devoted and loving wife, mother, neighbor, astute business person and friend to many people.
We wish peace and comfort to Phil, Jim, Evelyn's family and her many friends.
There is no doubt that Evelyn's life was extended by the wonderful care she received from her devoted family and health aides that assisted her at St. Paul's Health Care.
To us Evelyn will always be a very class act.

I was saddened to hear of Evelyn's passing. She played a major role in our views on investing. Mitzi Swift
