DONALD BOE Obituary

Donald Eugene Boe, 90 passed away April 13, 2017 in Sedro Woolley, WA.

Don was born in Burlington, WA. to Ted and Jeannette Boe. He attended Edison grade school and graduated in the first consolidated Edison and Burlington High School class of 1944.

After graduating he joined the US Navy. Once he was discharged Don met and married Betty DeGoilier. They celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary last December. They lived and raised their three children in Burlington.

Don worked for Richfield Oil and Mountain View Dairy. He retired in 1984 as district manager of Darigold. After retirement he worked part time at Skagit Farmers.

Don enjoyed all sports, walking, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was well known in Skagit Valley and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Jeannette Boe, and brother in law, Milton Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Betty, sister Evelyn Wilson, sons Dennis Boe (Melissa), Rick Boe (Corrie), daughter Julie Schei (Roger), eight grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.

A memorial will be held at the Edison Lutheran Church, Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the building fund for Edison Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements under the care of Hawthorne Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, WA.
