Clarence Crobaugh Obituary

CROBAUGH, Clarence P. Of Largo, born June 6, 1923, passed away May 13, 2011. "He was a man who stood tall amongst men." Our father passed on peacefully surrounded by his 4 children, Jan, Lynn, Sue, and Jack at his side and was comforted with our love, our warm hands, our hugs and our compassion. He was a kind and loving father and a generous and ethical man. At a very early age, he became a top national sales person. He served in the military, and later started his own very successful Manufacturer's Representative business. As former commodore of the Clearwater Yacht Club, he was well known in the FORA and SORC racing circuits. He captained his own sail boats ("West Wind" and then "Fairwind") competitively in local and international races. Our dad was well known for his love of dogs, particularly "Chance" who was his scruffy little loyal mixed breed terrier whom he rescued from an animal shelter and never left his side. He was an avid volunteer in the community known for his love of jokes and his sense of humor. He will be lovingly missed and fondly remembered by his four children; his grandchildren; his brother George, family and dear friends. You were and always will be the Captain of our ship dadso "Fairwinds and Following Seas." We love you dearly - your 4 kiddos - Jan, Lynn, Sue and Jack. If you wish, donations may be made to Hospice or the SPCA. National Cremation Society of Largo 727-536-0494

To Everyone, Boy am I going to miss
"C.P." and racing on his boats. I really had some of the best times of my life on board his boats. He definitely always did the right thing and right way. I will always remember him.
