I have known Carol since I was a small child, while living in New Jersey. My father worked with Bill. My parents became fast friends with Bill and Carol. My mother insisted that we call them Mr. and Mrs. Friedline; but my brother and I had a hard time pronouncing Friedline (I was about 3yrs old); they became Aunt Carol and Uncle Bill. I have so many fond memories of Aunt Carol. My sister and I spent a few Easters with her and her family. Spent many summer days with them at the Jersey Shore with Aunt Carols mother. I remember that Aunt Carol and I were penpals when I was about 10 and that penpal relationship carried on for many years. The last time I saw Aunt Carol with her boys, Craig, Wade and Ryan I was about 15 or 16 yrs. old. Then time slipped by; but we always kept in contact through Christmas cards and letters. I do remember seeing Aunt Carol when she came to WV to see my parents, I believe Rick was there as well. I know that Carol wasn't my "real" Aunt, but I will always remember her as my Aunt Carol. I know that she has left many nieces and nephews--so I want to say thank you for allowing me to think of your Aunt as my Aunt too. Craig, Wade and Ryan--May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms during this difficult and trying time. I know that your mother is in a better place now, feeling no more pain. Rick--I've enjoyed chatting with you on the phone; and I want you to know that you too are in my prayers and thoughts. May God Bless everyone who has had the pleasure and privilidge of knowing and loving Carol. May God be with you all.
