Margaret Edna Story Myers

Margaret Edna Story Myers, 95, of Ellensburg, Wash., passed away peacefully on May 17, 2014, in Ellensburg.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, N.J. Arrangements are under the care of Steward & Williams Tribute Center, Ellensburg, and Gray Memorial, Cranford, N.J. Condolences may be left at www.grayfuneralhomes.com.
Margaret was born on Nov. 8, 1918, in Elizabeth Port, N.J., to her parents, Harold R. Story and Caroline Meyers Story.
She was the second child of four children, Catherine Tisch and Olive Pirrocco, who preceded her in death, and Harold W. Story of Huntington, N.Y.
On Nov. 22, 1937, in Cranford, N.J., she married George Kelsall Myers; he preceded her in death in 1973. He worked for the Boy Scouts of America for 38 years, including as scout executive of the Chief Seattle Council, BSA, from 1959 to 1965.
Margaret was employed by Chase Bank in New York City and was a substitute teacher.
She loved spending time with her family and church, and enjoyed traveling, painting, and writing poetry.
Margaret is survived by sons, George Timothy Myers (Roberta) of Seattle, Wash., and David Richard Myers of Lantana, Texas; daughter, Carol Margaret Tomicich (Calvin) of Cle Elum, Wash.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
