McNeely, Ruthann 58 years old of Eagan, MN peacefully went to the Lord on 7/12/06 at Fairview Southdale Hospital after complications from a heart attack suffered on 7/2/06. Ruth was born on 10/27/47 in Tyler, MN and graduated from Tyler HS in 1965. Preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Edna Stensgaard; brothers, Gordon and Roger. She is survived by her loving and grateful husband of almost 37 years, Doug; son, Sean of Eagan; daughter, (Lea) Mrs. Scott Pickford of Schenectady, NY; grandchild on the way; sister, (Iona) Mrs. Conrad Arndt of Park Rapids, MN; brothers, Steven Stensgaard of Eden Prairie and Randy Stensgaard of Florence, MN; sisters-in law, (Jan) Mrs. Steven Stensgaard, (Barb) Mrs. Roger Stensgaard of St. Louis Park, MN, (Sue) Mrs. Randy Stensgaard and (Mary) Mrs. Russell Gorrell of Centerville, SD; many beloved nieces, nephews and very close friends. Her loves, in addition to God, family, friends and being the best wife and Mom anyone could wish for included playing cards with family and friends, bowling, volunteering her time and talents to charities and being the number one Mom for 6 seasons of American Legion baseball teams. Ruth was employed for 38 years as a part time bookkeeper at CH Edlund Company in Minneapolis, MN. The celebration of Ruth's wonderful life is to begin with visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, 7/16/06 at J.S. Klecatsky & Sons Funeral Home in Eagan. Funeral service with review one hour prior to the service of 11:00 a.m. on Monday, 7/17/06 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Eagan, MN. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery following the service and lunch at the church. Memorials preferred to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. 651-454-9488

We have been out of town and are so sorry for the passing of Ruth. She was a delight at all the Legion Games. I am sure she will be remembered with love.

We are so sorry to hear about Ruth. We have fond memories of her at all the summer baseball games. Although it has been some time since we have been a part of the baseball program, we remember those days with smiles on our faces, and Ruth is a part of that.
