NUTTER, Darlene H.

Darlene H Nutter (74) passed peacefully into Jesus' arms on Tuesday, March 26, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 3, 1940 to Blanche and Bill Hoover. She grew up in Staunton VA and graduated from Robert E Lee High School in 1958. She graduated from Stuart Circle Hospital in 1961 as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Bethesda Hospital in Florida for ten years. She also worked for the Palm Beach County School Board as a paraprofessional until 2004. She then retired to Texas to be near her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Oakley, her son-in-law Raymond Oakley, her grandchildren, Billy and Amanda, her son, Robert B. Nutter II, and her dog, Shadow. She is preceded in death by her parents, Blanche and Bill Hoover, her husband, Robert Nutter, her mother-in-law, Margaret B. Nutter and numerous other family relations. Darlene had a zeal for life and brought joy to her family and friends. She especially enjoyed being the Vice Queen of her Red Hat Society. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity or to Round Rock Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be on Friday, March 28 from 4-6pm at Beck's Funeral Home 15709 RR 620. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday March 29, 2014 at Round Rock Presbyterian Church at 4010 Sam Bass Road, Round Rock. Darlene my friend we had almost 47 years of
friendship. We shared so much, laughter, loss of parents, husbands, my child. Weddings, grandchildren, illness. How I am
going to miss our late night phone calls. I will always have wonderful memories of all are good time. Rest easy my friend in Gods arms. I miss you. Karen

Wayne and my Mother are there to welcome her. When you look in the sky at night and see a shining star that
is my best friend smiling down at you. I have almost 47
