Michelle and Taylor, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Shawn was a great guy and I know he will be greatly missed. I only found out about this today 7/20/11. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you and Taylor. Again, I'm so very sorry.

I've spent the last week and a half trying to come up with the words that would help make this situation easier. They still have not came to me, so all i can say is remember Shawn for the devoted husband and father and great freind that he was. Ours thought & prayers go out to his family.

It is rare in this world to find someone willing to lend a hand and Shawn was just this type of person. He was selfless and always had a smile on his face especially when it came to his daughter. Thank you for your friendship, you will be missed.

Shawn Paul was a dear friend of mine, he has helped me when I really needed him and for that friendship I will forever love him. Taylor is my sunshine and my beautiful little girl,and for that I thank him. His wife and I have grown to be great friends for that I'll always remember him........

Shawn was one of those guys that was so easy to get along with. He was friends with everyone. We rode the same bus together growing up and both joined the Pioneer Junior Olympic wrestling club at the same time. Like everyone else, I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Shawn's passing. I know that there is no rhyme or reason for many of the deaths that take place, but why does it seem like some of the best ones are taken from us so early. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I learned much from Shawn in the short 6 years I have known him. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds. His smile never ended. His love for family was most important. Shawn - you will be dearly missed. God speed - my friend.

Shawn and I were best friends for many years. I will never forget our hunting, fishing and February camping trips. He was always there to have a great time with and laugh. The Carder family sends prayers out to all the families during this time.

I was so deeply saddened to hear the news of Shawn's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Shawn in the engine shop at Evernham Motorsports.
