Mr. Eddie was the best! He not only taught us gals how to play ball, but the rules as well, so we knew instantly what to do when we played. He was our hero and mentor not only on the field but off and he will be surely missed by many many that he coached. My deepest sympathy to Ms. Grace (who put up with all of us) and to Lil Eddie and his family. God rest his soul - Jane Price Self

My mama Ms Nell coached with Mr Eddie for many years. She loved and respected him very much. Now they are together again on the same team with the real Saint Raphael!

Eddie,
I am saddened by the passing of your Dad. He was a very good man. He was one of those who helped make this country's greatest generation great.
